Workflow Setup: Completing the Workflow

How does a pilot actually log their workflow?

Updated over a year ago

Once the checklists and risk assessments have been created for your team or account, they can now be added to a workflow. Workflows are managed from the Manage > Workflows screen, and the individual components can be made optional or required steps. The steps can also be customized through each segment of the operation from planning to preflight and post-flight.

Workflows are then assigned to specific roles, and the workflow will be presented to each user on the role when they tap "Fly" or create a mission in the app. This can be considered their default workflow for their day-to-day operations.

When there is a workflow is completed and saved, Roles then be assigned to that workflow so the users will be prompted to follow the steps in the field. Make sure to add the appropriate Roles to the Workflow. A role may only be assigned to one workflow.

Once the workflow is set for the role, anyone assigned to that role will be prompted to complete the workflow when tapping “Fly” in the app.

If a pilot or operation calls for a different workflow than what is currently assigned, workflows can also be customized at the mission level via the procedures tab.
