More about Risk Assessments in Air Control

Updated over a year ago

Checklists help us from becoming complacent and skipping important steps in repetitive tasks. Risk assessments allow workflow-specific checks and balances to be put in place to help program admins set the boundaries for acceptable risk, and for pilots to be able to better understand their risk exposure with each flight that’s launched. Risk assessments can also be included in the mission planning phase.

Risk assessments are completely customizable, allowing multiple sections or topics and specific weights for each question and answer.

Completed risk assessments when conducted alongside flight activity will appear within the Risk Assessment Logs section. Admins can view individual checklist answers by going to Manage > Logs > Risk Assessments or clicking on the hyperlink in the completed workflow.

Now that the workflow components are setup on the account, included in a workflow, and assigned to a pilot's role, you're ready to conduct your first workflow session.

Don't forget to review checklists if you haven't already.

Or, skip to Completing the Workflow to understand how these steps get logged.
