Air Control has new streaming options on iOS!
Three ways to stream on iOS:
Device Camera:
From the main menu > Stream the device camera
Device Screen Broadcast
From the main menu > Stream the device screen
Drone Camera
From the in-flight menu > Stream the drone camera
Here's a quick video that shows how to start a screen broadcast stream:
Quick steps:
Launch Air Control
Tap main menu > Stream > Screen Broadcast > Start Broadcast
Switch to desired flight app and fly
View and share streams from the web dashboard: https://air.aloft.ai/
Streaming the drone camera:
Once you tap Fly or select a Mission, and proceed through your preflight workflow, you'll be presented with the inflight "Connect Aircraft" screen. Once your drone is connected, you can enable streaming from the side menu. A list of supported drones for iOS can be found here.
View Streams on the Web Dashboard: https://air.aloft.ai/
Anyone that can log into the account, and has permission to view streams, can pull up the web dashboard directly. For those that need access but don't have an Air Control account, we can grab a easy link via the "Share Streams" button up top.
Up to 4 active streams can be viewed at the same time. You can view more by opening up additional browser tabs or windows. There is no limit to stream hours or minutes for both the pilot and viewers. Up to 50 users can view any individual drone stream. All streaming data is encrypted in transit and not stored by Aloft.
