Air Control offers three main map styles. These are accessible by clicking the Layers button in the top-right corner of the main airspace map on both the web dashboard and mobile apps.
Air Control Light - This style helps make airspace layers more visible, minimizing any ground-based information.
Air Control Terrain - This style makes "green" areas like parks, state parks, wilderness areas, and even golf courses more visible on the map for planning purposes. Always double-check unlabeled parks and wilderness or wildlife protected areas with a local resource to verify whether pilots can takeoff or land there.
Satellite - Most pilots will opt for Satellite view on the mobile apps so they can better familiarize with the area and gain better situational awareness using landmarks.
